Day 1
Arrive in Los Angeles
Land in Los Angeles and take the airport shuttle to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2
Los Angeles – Palm Springs (122 miles)
In the morning leave LA as you drive towards the palm lined streets to California’s most desirable holiday spots and aptly named Palm Springs. Have a little R&R here as you unwind in the sun and take a dip in the refreshing pool. A short drive from Palm Springs sits the unique Joshua Tree, its national park named after the tree, this spike-leafed evergreen grows nowhere else in the world. Its height varies from a staggering 4 - 12 metres tall.

Day 3
Palm springs – Tucson (381 miles)
This is a long drive to Tucson so if you want to stay overnight in Phoenix to break up the journey let us know and we can tailor this in for you. Once arrived, you’ll be staying in this fantastic ranch for a couple of nights. Surrounded by desert and majestic mountains this great experience will be fun for the whole family. Your stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 4
Tucson
Today you’ll have the full day at the ranch to explore. Choose from horse riding and lessons, mountain biking and hiking or if that’s not your thing you can go on a 4x4 jeep tour through the Sonoran Desert with a chance of spotting some Arizona wildlife (activities at extra charge).

Day 5 - Day 6
Tucson – Grand Canyon (314 miles)
After some wild west fun, travel north to the incredible Grand Canyon for the next two nights! With incredible views for miles, it really is a bucket list destination. Have the choice in staying in nearby town such as Williams and ride the iconic Grand Canyon Train to the destination - experience the views in comfort as well as entertainment onboard. Or optionally travel that little bit further and stay in Grand Canyon Village for incomparable views and ease of activities. For those thrill-seekers how about rafting down the Colorado River and truly experiencing the sheer scale of this natural wonder (extra charge).

Day 7
Grand Canyon – Las Vegas (252 miles)
After an amazing time experiencing the great outdoors in style you’ll journey to the bright lights of Las Vegas. Get a family photo in front of the famous sign as it welcomes you in and gaze upon the majestic Bellagio Fountains as they dance through the night. Stay off strip at the Virgin Hotel in a serene resort style hotel with a calmer atmosphere and only a 10 minute walk to the action or upgrade to The Venetian with large spacious suites ideal for families

Day 8
Las Vegas
Enjoy exploring this one-of-a-kind city at great heights as you take an optional ride on the High Roller Observation Wheel or how about taking in a fabulous show in the evening?
For the more adventurous kids (and adults!) how about ziplining above the crowds through Fremont Street. Stationed at Slotzilla this 12-story slot machine flies you through at a speed of 40mph, with four separate zip lines you’ll race with your relatives to reach the end.

Day 9
Las Vegas – Los Angeles or Anaheim (270 miles)
Make your way back to the City of Angels where you can stay in either Los Angeles near Universal Studios or Anaheim near Disneyland Park, both suggested hotels are conveniently located and under a 10-minute drive to the nearest park.
Universal Studios is busting with incredible themed areas; roam amongst the walkers as you make your way through The Walking Dead area, explore the spell-binding Wizarding World of Harry Potter and laugh your way through Despicable Me’s Minion Mayhem. Grab a behind the scenes tour as you journey through how they create big Hollywood blockbusters and witness filming in action (extra charge).

Day 10
Los Angeles or Anaheim
Visit the happiest place on Earth as you explore Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park (extra charge). Walk down Main Street in all its glory, spot the unmistakable beacon of Sleeping Beauty Castle and get the chance to meet Mickey and friends in the Magic Kingdom. Stretched over two parks you’ll have over 15 themed areas full of rides and attractions to see and do! Get excited about the vast lands from Frontierland to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Pixar Pier to the Avengers Campus.

Day 11
Depart for Los Angeles airport
Today is your last day of your incredible trip through the west. How about taking in some iconic sights such as Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Signs or some last-minute shopping at Hollywood and Highland. Return your rental car and fly home.
