Things to Do in Coronado
Central Beach
Coronado has a number of great attractions and activities that make for perfect family-friendly fare. For starters, there’s the beach – it’s one of the best and continues on for over a mile. Bring the kids here for a picnic or take to the waters for a spot of surfing. The gorgeous white sands are incredibly enticing and you’ll be forgiven for wanting to spend the majority of your time right here.
Ferry Landing Marketplace
Worth it just for the views, the Ferry Landing Marketplace can be found next to the shops and eateries. There’s a cute little beach and some lawns where you can stretch out and soak up the sun, as you admire the views of Downtown San Diego.
Parks
Coronado has a great selection of parks, such as Centennial, Glorietta Bay and Spreckles Park. The latters has a playground for the kids and a charming gazebo, whilst Glorietta Bay actually offers some wonderful views of Coronado Bay Bridge. If you’re looking for something a bit different to do during your stay, why not rent a boat and enjoy sailing around the bay? You can hire boats at Centennial Park and it’s a lovely way to see Coronado from a different angle.
