Day 1
Los Angeles
Arrive into Los Angeles and transfer to your hotel – the rest of the day can be spent at leisure making the most of the city’s attractions.

Day 2
Los Angeles – Mojave Desert – Las Vegas
Leave the hotel at 08:30 and depart for Las Vegas with your group and tour guide, travelling via the Mojave Desert for the entertainment capital of the world.
Overnight: Luxor Las Vegas or similar
Day 3
Las Vegas – Death Valley – Mammoth Lakes**
Stopping at the iconic welcome sign, you’ll have time to capture a few photos of this world-famous Las Vegas icon. From here, there’s a sharp contrast in scenery as you visit the extreme surrounds of Death Valley. You’ll stop at Zabriskie Point and Furnace Creek Ranch before heading across the valley and ascending the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the alpine resort of Mammoth Lakes**. This area was once a thriving gold mining town in the 18th century and is now known for its great skiing terrain and stunning mountain views.
Overnight: Mammoth Mountain Inn or similar (Hampton Inn Fresno Airport or similar, breakfast included)
**Winter Route – The Tioga Pass may be closed due to weather or road conditions in the winter (generally from October to May), in which case you will skip the visit the Mammoth Lakes and overnight in Fresno instead.
Day 4
Mammoth Lakes** – Yosemite National Park
Rise early this morning and join an optional scenic gondola ride to the summing of Mammoth (seasonal) and enjoy a delicious breakfast overlooking the beautiful scenery. Onwards from here, your journey takes you to the Tioga Pass** and into the breath-taking Yosemite National Park. Spend time exploring the valley floor and its many natural wonders, from the magnificent Bridal Falls to the Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and El Capitan.
Overnight: Doubletree by Hilton Modesto or similar

Day 5
Yosemite National Park – San Francisco
Leave early this morning to arrive in the city of San Francisco, where you’ll embark on a sightseeing tour before enjoying the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, there’s the option to take part in a memorable City by Night Tour where you’ll have the chance to see the sights from a new perspective.
Overnight: Hilton San Francisco Union Square or similar
Day 6
You’ll have the whole day to explore at your own pace, from the sea lions at Pier 39 to the famous cable cars or bustling Union Square. Your tour guide will be on hand to help arrange activities to help you make the most of your time here, from shopping and dining to a visit to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Day 7
San Francisco – Monterey/Carmel – Central Coast
Bid farewell to San Francisco and drive to the Monterey Peninsula which is renowned for its expansive homes and picturesque beaches. While you’re here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row before making your way to Carmel-by-the-Sea, home to quaint houses, quirky stores and art galleries. In the afternoon, continue your journey through Paso Robles, home to fine wineries.

Day 8
Central Coast – Santa Barbara – Malibu Beverly Hills – Los Angeles
Make your way south today through the Santa Ynez Valley into Santa Barbara where the palm-lined walkways edge perfect white sand beaches. From here, continue on to Los Angeles where you’ll stop in Santa Monica where there’s the option to enjoy lunch on the pier or a beach bike ride. In the afternoon, take a tour of the sights, including Beverly Hills and Hollywood. Your tour concludes at 6pm in Los Angeles. We have included a post night into your tour so you can enjoy the rest of the day and evening at leisure.

Day 9
Today, explore the city at leisure before heading to the airport independently.
