Day 1
Fly to Boston
Arrive at Logan International Airport and transfer via the airport shuttle to your first night hotel where you will meet your Tour Manager.

Day 2
Boston – Cape Neddick Lighthouse – Kennebunkport – Portland
This morning you will travel north to discover the beautiful coastline and fascinating history of this region. You will pass through the oldest community in New Hampshire known for its historic and thriving fishing community – Portsmouth. The stop at New England’s most iconic lighthouse on the summit of Cape Neddick – a small off-shore rocky island. Nicknamed “The Nubble”, the Cape Neddick Lighthouse is one of the most photographed in America. The next stop is Kennbunkport, a small charming coastal town and home to the palatial summer estates of prominent politicians such as George Bush Senior. Your overnight stop is Portland where you will have time to stroll the delightful cobbled streets of the Old Port waterfront district and have dinner (not included) at your leisure to perhaps sample the famous Maine lobster.

Day 3
Portland – Acadia National Park - Bar Harbour
It’s a really enjoyable drive northeast on Route 1 from Portland to Bar, from the window you'll see the jagged coastline and rocky beaches of the Atlantic and the glorious Acadia National Park. Pass through quaint villages where local fishermen mark their grounds with colourful buoys, then arrive in the small town of Bar Harbor. Known for its stunning coastal beauty, Bar Harbor is famous for it’s charming ambience and the famous Maine Lobster.

Day 4
Bar Harbour – White Mountains
Embark on an inland adventure towards the White Mountains, often referred to as the 'rooftop of New England'. Traverse through the untarnished and picturesque woodlands along the Kancamagus Highway, leading to the breathtaking Franconia Notch, an eight-mile pass nestled between two mountain ranges celebrated for their renowned foliage and captivating natural vistas. Anticipate a spellbinding encounter with one of nature's marvels at Franconia Notch State Park, home to the awe-inspiring Flume Gorge State Park, where a miraculous view awaits to leave you in awe.

Day 5
White Mountains
The White Mountains of New Hampshire offer a splendid refuge to unwind, discover, and craft enduring memories. Begin your day by venturing towards the renowned Flume Gorge, nestled within the bounds of Franconia Notch State Park. This natural wonder stretches an impressive 800 feet horizontally at the foot of Mount Liberty, providing a mesmerizing spectacle. Enjoy a visit to a local Maple Farm and how the famous maple syrup is made, with traditional methods paring with technology.

Day 6
White Mountains – Newport
Journey south through pristine forests and onto Rhode Island – “The Ocean State” – home to spectacular scenery and awe-inspiring architecture. Arrive in Newport where you have free time to explore the “Sailing Capital of the World” and stroll the Cliff Walk where you will find the famed Gilded Age mansions of wealth families such as the Astor’s and the Vanderbilts.

Day 7
Newport – Cape Cod
From the opulence of Newport you'll continue to the unspoiled natural beauty of Cape Cod where you will find picturesque beaches with rolling sand dunes, beautiful seascapes, and gorgeous sunsets.

Day 8
Cape Cod
Today you can choose to take a well-recommended optional excursion to Martha’s Vineyard (extra charge). A short 45 minute ferry ride from Cape Cod is the island of Martha's Vineyard, spread over 100 square miles are six towns, each with its own proud history and unique character, historic sea captains' homes, charming gingerbread cottages, a quaint fishing village and five majestic lighthouses. Or you can choose to relax in your Cape Cod resort and enjoy a day on the beaches.

Day 9
Cape Cod – Plymouth - Boston
Today begins with a visit to Plymouth, the town where English colonists first made a home in New England. See Plymouth Rock, where the passengers of the Mayflower first set foot in the New World. Enjoy views of Plymouth Harbor and the Mayflower II, a replica of the original Mayflower (onboard admission not included). You’ll then return to Boston, where you'll retrace the steps of the Freedom Trail which may include a stroll beside Boston Common, King's Chapel, the Boston Massacre site, and numerous pubs and taverns where America's Founding Fathers toasted freedom. Enjoy lunch at one of Boston's many restaurants where you may wish to try a steaming hot cup of traditional New England Clam Chowder (optional – extra charge). Afterwards, explore Quincy Market, Boston's first marketplace from the 1800's, now home to boutiques, cafes and shops.
