Peak temperatures in July, average about 21.1°C throughout the state. In the Southern Interior Division during a very warm summer, temperatures may reach 32.2° for as many as 25 days, and in the Coastal Division, two to seven days. Winters are cold, but prolonged cold spells are rare with eight weeks each year dropping below freezing.
