Situated around Lake Bryan, this wonderful beach retreat is the perfect choice for a couple in search of a beautiful, romantic destination wedding in Florida. Picture the two of you, hand in hand as emerald palm trees sway overhead and you exchange wedding vows with the warm sunshine and cobalt waters of the lake behind you.

We are excited to welcome Paradise Cove to our wedding collection; this sublime resort beautifully captures magic of the south and blends it with an elegant, classic feel. Our Classic Wedding package features an hour of professional photography to truly capture the beauty of this venue, as well as a wedding coordinator and ceremony chairs for up to 20 guests. If you’d like to take your special day to the next level, our Premier Package is a wonderful choice: a fresh rose bouquet, luxury white stretch limo, wedding cake and a bridal makeup and hair stylist are just a few of the treats that this package comprises.

Included in the package is an arch (not decorated) and chairs for up to 20 people. This is a casual tropical feeling location.

Additional Information

At least 24 hours before your wedding day you need to apply for a Florida marriage licence.  This is a very simple process which you can complete as a couple together.  The cost of the wedding licence is not included in the cost of your wedding package.  The cost of the licence is US$100. Paradise cove offers seating for up to 20 guests, there is an additional charge for extra seating.

Travel Times

20 minutes from I Drive Area, in Lake Buena Vista, 35 minutes from Kissimmee / Hwy 27 Area.

Additional Information

The cost of the wedding licence is not included in the cost of your wedding package.  The cost of the licence is US$93.50

Paradise cove offers seating for up to 20 guests, there is an additional charge for extra seating.  Our packages are designed for parties up to 25 people - if you party goes over this we charge $10.00 per person on top of the additional seating costs from the location.  Paradise Cove do offer wedding receptions for parties 20 and over. If you want to have a reception at Paradise Cove, we can send you the menus that they offer , we will have your work with the location directly for a reception.

  • Minimum residency period prior to marriage: No minimum required (though valid wedding license required)
  • Minimum age: 18
  • Weddings take place: Monday – Thursday (unless specified)

Residency

You do not need to be a resident of Florida to apply for a marriage licence. No minimum residency applies to overseas couples. (I.e. you are not required to be in Florida for a minimum number of days.)

Age - You should be 18 years and older to apply for a marriage licence.

Prior Marriage - Persons who were previously married and divorced need to bring their decree absolute with them to the courthouse as they will need to supply the date their last marriage ended.

Application and Fee - As a couple you now have the choice of courthouses to apply for your marriage licence in person Orange County, Osceola and Lake Country. Applications are accepted between 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday, except for Bank Holidays. Applications can also be arranged vis mail prior to your arrival in Florida.

The current fee for a marriage licence is $93.50 Orange County, $103.50 Osceola County, payable by visa, MasterCard or cash $93.50 Lake Country payable by cash only.

Documentation required by the Courthouse

Couples will require the following necessary documents

  • Passports
  • Birth Certificates (either full one or short one - UK couples)
  • Decree Absolute (if divorced)
  • And any other relevant paperwork such as change documents (widower’s certificate, change of name etc.).

Failure to produce correct documentation may result in having to delay the wedding pending the correct documents being presented.

The Marriage Licence

The marriage licence is valid for 60 days from the day of issue. The Marriage licence has to be shown to the Notary or Minister prior to the ceremony, to ensure all legal requirements have been fulfilled. The Notary or Minister will then be responsible for posting the Marriage licence back to the courthouse to have it validated. This will become the official Marriage Certificate. This process should take between 4 – 6 weeks and will be posted directly back to the couple’s home address.
